Description
This round trivet will take you back all the way to the 6th century where the Menorah mosaic depicted on the trivet served as a deck for an ancient Jewish synagogue in Jericho. The choice of using the menorah in the mosaic showcases the importance the menorah holds in the Jewish people's history. The wording reads: "Shalom al Yisrael" in ancient Hebrew meaning: "Peace be upon Israel". While the mosaic dates back to centuries ago the design is still fresh and intriguing. The trivet will be a distinguishable piece of Hanukkah Décor and will make for a great Hanukkah gift. Made from a wipe clean wood composite and measuring 20x20 cm it will be a wonderful Hanukkah decoration.
